I stumbled upon this page on Kate Spade's website called "what's in my bag?" Kate's talking about this new flickr photo pool whatsinmybag that showcases the contents of people's bags from handbags to messenger bags to travel bags. Anyone with a flickr account can upload their own photo. I haven't done *that* yet so I figured I'd share my goods here with my blog friends first.
I've been using my LV Denim Baggy PM bag almost everyday since January. It is so sturdy and lightweight, yet it can also surprisingly pack a lot of goodness in it. Perfect for everyday and even going out at night. I don't think I've ever used a nice bag for so long.
Here's my contents:
1. Pentax Optio S4i Digital Camera
2. Altoids mini tin
3. 2006 Cavallini & Co Daily Planner which I use more as my daily notebook
4. black and blue felt tip pens
5. k.autumn tissue pack
6. ponytail holder and a hair clip
7. pink sidekick II phone
8. cheap Conair mini hairbrush in pink
9. Chanel lipstick in Moire and gloss in Sandstone
10. eyedrops
11. iPod Photo in metallic gold Kate Spade case
12. eyeglasses that I never wear even though sometimes I can't see things
13. Prada wallet in excellent condition - purchased in 2000 for $50 bucks at the Prada outlet in Palm Springs
Not sure if any of you remember that Kate Spade came out with a book in 2000 featuring the contents of ladies' handbags called, just that, Contents (Definitely check out this AIGA link about the book). I'm so glad I got it back then because the book is so well made and designed. It's funny she never mentions it on that page but it makes more sense for her reference to the flickr pool.

OMG! You got the LV bag that I WANT SOOOO BADLY!!! (please tell my husband). I've been eyeing that bag forever, and I actually went into the Louis Vuitton store on the Champs Elysee to look at it. At first the sales women told me that there wasn't any left, but then she went into the back and found one (miracle).
I called my hubby to see if it was okay to buy and he denied me! I should have bought it anyway. Drats!
Love the Post,
Ms. Glaze

I love the tissue holder as well. Anyhow, The Bag Lady (http://www.thebaglady.tv/2006/05/whats_in_your_b.html) has just asked readers "What's In Your Bag?" so I'm sending my photo in. I should try Flickr too.

I went to the kautumn Web site and they are under construction...maybe they will have online shopping soon? I hope so, because I must have one of those tissue pack holders.
You are so organized, I have purse envy. Where are the gum wrappers? The pennies? The random post-its? The weeks-old grocery lists? :)

Je sais - mon sac est tres "clean" (what's the word for that?). I think I stuff more crap in my wallet like paper/reciepts. But I am super organized overall.
I want to see what's in your bag!! :)
Diana and Poppy - As for the camera, it is the smallest and lightest I have ever used. I love it! Not heavy at all. It's actually Gilles' and he got it in Tokyo 2 years ago. But he never uses it so I do. I don't think they make mine anymore but there are lots to chose from on the pentax site - http://www.pentax.com.

No problem Ella! Here's more elaboration on the cute tissue packs which are designed by my friend Kelly Sperbeck. (They are made from felt of old billiard tables.) Here's the link to her line k.autumn http://www.kautumn.com/. She also has a store in berkeley called Relish at Home http://www.relishathome.com where they are sold also. You can email kelly to order one (Tell her I referred you) as I don't think they have online shopping!

Ohh, of course, you linked to it. I read your entry at Coutorture. I'm trying to figure that site out. I prefer individual blogs. I'd like it to have excerpts and more prominently link to us. I don't even get many hits from the site. Hmmm.
Well, thanks for recommending that product!!

Natalie, you must be rich! (Aside from my wallet being more expensive, you got a deal!)
But where, where, where can I get that tissue holder???!
