Is it just me or are bridal magazines forever out of date with the modern times? Everything is just way too cheesy and frou-frou. Thankfully I've got stylish girlfriends. My friend Alison in New York sent me a link Joynoelle who makes one-of-a-kind dresses for any occasion, but most especially for brides who are not afraid to be fashion forward and want something different. Some of her dresses are made from vintage kimonos and the results are spectacular. Too bad I already got my dress (you'll see this fall).
Joynoelle was created by Minneapolis based designer Joy Teiken. Joy also makes some super stylish ready-to-wear and couture dresses too. So if you are suddenly invited to the ball, you'll know where to call and get that special dress.
