Miss Janey

Here in southern California, the end of summer seems far, far away. Miss Janey will be able to wear her Steve Madden wedge espadrilles for another two months, but after that, she’ll miss them terribly.

Ms. Spinach

Those of us who have recently moved to tropical climates are mostly sad about not being able to wear all the beautiful cold-weather fashions this year. But we still like thinking about it!

Thanks for organizing!

It Girl in SF

Since I just relocated from sunny San Diego to the San Francisco Bay Area, this is a toughie for me. I'm going to miss my Mia "Gwen" platform wedge espadrilles the most, but I am really looking forward to acquiring an investment-worthy, snuggly sweater!

The details are available on my full post on the Adventures in the Stiletto Jungle blog at:

I'll miss my Nanette Lepore Senorita top and I covet a Burberry trench. Pictures and details are at my post:

My summer and fall wardrobes are pretty much identical, since my wardrobe is very limited. Fall just means that the long-sleeved shirts start coming out of the closet, and that I will have to acquire a proper fall jacket (so much easier said than done) since I currently don't have one. I suppose said jacket is going to be the thing I covet for fall, because the clothes I don't have yet are always more interesting than the ones I already have.

Nancy Friedman

Summers are cold in the Bay Area--yesterday's high in San Francisco was 64, with more of the same expected all week--but by mid-September and October we get blue skies and warmth. So I'm looking forward to shelving the fleece and wool socks and wearing some sleeveless tops and lightweight skirts. By early November it will turn chilly again, and I'll be able to wear my beautiful new Bolo ankle boots, bought for 75% off retail at Zappos.

The Bargain Queen

Great question!

It's almost spring here in Sydney and the thing I've missed all winter is open-toed shoes. Sandals, wedges, even my (ugly but comfortable) Birkenstocks -- it'll be wonderful to pull them back out again when the weather gets warm enough!
