Wide Leg Jeans

Katemoss Chole

Last week I posted how Kate Moss has been seen around wearing wide leg jeans and a few of you commented to find out who made the jeans. According to Denimology, they are vintage Chloe jeans. (Don't miss their detailed denim rundown of their 2006 denim icon Kate.) I love the detail of the slit front pockets. I'm not sure where you'd find an exact pair like these so I've looked around and found some nice alternatives. Denimology pulled through on finding the best match (You can also see Lindsey Lohan spotting the vintage Chloe.)

What do you wear on top with wide leg jeans? And for footwear, do pointy-toed pumps work?

I contacted Chloe to see if they would maybe re-introduce those great Kate Moss jeans. Probably not but it's worth a try for all of us wanting them.

what do you know about the topshop "t" style?

Has anyone ever ordered jeans from topshop?
How are their sizes? is a 26 the same as a 26 here?

I LOVE THE "OLD JEANS" FOR I WAS IN THE DAY OF THE STYLE.I STILL HAVE MY "SANFRANSISCO ELEPHANT LEG" JEANS,AND SANFRAN RIDING JEANS.YEP THE LATE 60'S TOTHE 80'S.AND STILL DO.

Hellooooo :)

I still remember coming here in the summer with my wide leg jeans that I would buy in Europe and no one here wore them! lol... I think I still own a pair, but I do prefer the boot-cut/straighter jeans, for some odd reason the make my legs look slimmer - opposite to the effect they are known for.

my impresion when i saw this pic as not so much the wide or relaxed leg but the higher waist, too. i think the relaxed look is what i so pleasing about kate's look -- its not tight and uncomfortable looking, but relaxed and even polished.

Hey! I love this piece on the jeans! I love Kate Moss and I love those vintage Chloe jeans. Thanks for listing alternatives to them. I will have to check them out!

See my link to the new Chloe's on Net-A-Porter.
They are a lovely wash and have good front pockets, even though not exactly the same :o)

The Topshop jeans are fabulous, too bad they are out of stock.

Love the Lux Jeans as well but the Muse pair of Joe's and the Ingrids by Citizens of Humanity are actually flared jeans so don't try them if you're coveting Kate's look.

The Farrah jeans are amazing. Plus they are significantly different from Kate's Chloe's and it's important to interpret the trends in your own way. You're sure to be ahead of the fashion pack in these.

I own the Dojo's and they are amazingly cute on. I would reccomend them to anyone- super flattering on all figures.

Wide legs are a trend worth investing in.
