Studs have always been a hot detail in clothing and bags but the latest crop is more about giving femininity a little edge. Ultra cute dresses with stud details have popped up all over like the sweet Catherine Malandrino Silver Stud Short Sleeve Dress ($425 at Shopbop) at left and a more sexy version, the Alice + Olivia Stud Trim Dress ($330 at Shopbop) on the right.
Even forever-in-plaid Burberry changed its tune this season, with it's new studded Knight Bag ($2995), that's being carried around by the likes of Cameron Diaz.
