Favorite Things of 2007

Favorite Things of 2007 is happening again where a number of us fashion and beauty bloggers give you our top picks for beauty products of the year. Thanks to Annie at Blogdorf Goodman for organizing this again this year!

Here are my top 5 my favorite beauty products that I discovered I can't live without this year:

1. Dior Vernis Nail Polish in limited editon Party Dazzle 410
I can't find anywhere to buy it online in the U.S. except this link above to Sephora in France. It's in limited edition for the season, so head on out to the Dior counter at any department store and see if they have it in stock. Bloomingdales was sold out so I ran to Nordstroms and got the last one. It's a great neutral warm bronze color that's got lots of sparkle and shine for daily wear. Perfect for winter shine on your fingertips. I need to find a way to get another bottle and stash it for the rest of the year.

2. NARS The Multiple ($36.50 at NARS)
I love the multiple use of this light airy cream stick that highlights your eyes, cheeks, and lips easily. (Read my previous post here.)

3. Bliss Steep Clean Cleansing Milk ($32 at Sephora)
I have combination skin and this one treats those pesky t-zone oily areas without drying out the rest of my skin. You can also massage this into your face and leave it on for 5 minutes as a quick mask. It really leaves your skin soft and smooth.

4. Benefit Boi-ing Concealer ($18 at Benefit)

This is the perfect smooth concealer that can cover those nasty blemishes in a snap without getting cakey or feel heavy. Get the concealer brush for optimum application.

5. Bumble & Bumble Sunday Shampoo (16.79 at Drugstore.com)
My hairdresser recommended me to use this every Sunday, and use my regular shampoo during the week. It really does clear out all the buildup in your hair and keeps it healthy and shiny.

Oooh, the Dior polish looks gorgeous (and I'm not even big into nail polish at all)... As for the Bliss cleansing milk, it's reminded me that one of my goals this year (well, in the next month or so) is to haul my ass over to the Bliss spa and treat myself to a massage and facial...

I love that Bliss cleanser as well ... really does a wonderful job at ridding the face of dead skin and helps brighten, not at all harsh ... thanks for reminding me about how good it is!! Great list ... here's to a fab 2008!! xo

Ditto on the great list! I love my Nars Multiple too -- it's so useful! And if the Bloomie's and Nordstrom in SF are all out of the Dior nail polish, I may already be out of luck down here on the peninsula...
