Marc Jacobs Eyewear
I'm about due to get my eyes checked and I want to get myself a new pair of glasses. Just launched this year is Marc Jacobs' new eyewear line. Since Marc wears glasses himself, he decided he better start making some so he can wear his own! (That's what I heard from the manager at Marc Jacobs a couple weeks ago.) I love the vintage styles and the prices are just right. I'm eyeing these Marc Jacobs tortoise shell eyeglasses ($139.95 at Go Optic). See the entire selection here. The eyeglass collection will also appear in Marc Jacobs boutiques soon in the spring.
I like this vintage look - I got an original pair from the 60ies at the
Beryll store in Santa Monica. Beryll mainly carries their handmade sunglass, jewelry and belt lines. But you can find a great
selection of vintage rx frames which they bring in from all over the world - worth to swing by.

i was wondering if ANYONE knows where I can get the "granny style" wire framed glasses that were on the Marc Jacobs runway for Spring 08. I can't find them anywhere!!!

I believe some new designs will be out for spring as well as the fact they will carry them in the MJ boutiques, at least the one in San Francisco will have it.
