If you want to laugh your head off and find a way to blow off steam from the 9 to 5 grind of a corporate job, pick up and read Working for the Man by Jeffrey Yamaguchi (who also wrote the inspiring 52 Projects). I myself don't work in corporate-land anymore (woo!) and this book reminded me how thankful I am not. My past corporate life in an internet agency had me sitting in meetings with a lot of these people. I'd like to add this guy to the list. The one who thinks it's cute to come up behind you in the hallway when you're talking to a co-worker, cover your eyes (touching your eye, messing your makeup, ew!), and saying "guess whoooo?" Yes. That really happened to me. We weren't even co-worker friends, and he was straight. Go figure.
Seriously, if you think you are about to lose it, this book will help keep you laughing in cubicle-land because it's all the things you want to say or do, but don't because you'll probably get fired if you do. Yamaguchi also offer up some fun solutions and projects to help you improve your work life, even if it's just for a few minutes.
There's also a bunch of fun videos related to the book. This video of how not to run a meeting cracks me up. I love all the cheesy lines and I've definitely been in meetings like this before, but worse.
