Coquette's in Texas

Hello! I'm still here in Austin, enjoying everything at SXSW! If you can believe it, it's been cold and stormy here lately so fashionwise I was not prepared. My panel on Saturday on High-Tech Craft went well and you can catch a clip of it in the video above by ThreadHeads.

Diana Eng and I drove to Houston on Sunday and spent the afternoon with Project Runway Season 2 winner, Chloe Dao and visited her shop Lot 8 as well as her new design studio. She's amazing -- she did the AIDS Walk in Houston that morning and still had time to hang with us! She's such an inspiration and we had a great time talking fashion. I'll have a full write up and video to share soon.

Here's Diana trying on the cutest jersey cherry dress from Chloe's shop. Everywhere we went around Austin and Houston, Diana always got compliments on her shoes. (She added the green ribbon to these cute short heeled Mary Jane's.)

Sunday night we also headed over to the PBS party at Austin City Limits where I was reunited with "Little Jane" (Austen in Austin!) and hung out with Jeannine Harvey who coordinated all the bloggers who participated in the Jane Austen Masterpiece Theater blogfest that was on their site Remotely Connected.
