It's spring and picnic-style plaid has gotten a facelift thanks to Juicy Couture's puff-sleeved plaid top ($148 at Juicy Couture) -- a fresh gingham plaid print. The fresh prints make me thing of BBQ's and lazy Saturday afternoons.
Here are more fun plaid fashions:

Juicy Couture Plaid-Print Silk Cami ($178 at Juicy Couture)

Volcom Plaid Runaway Tank ($38.00 at Urban Outfitters)

Tibi Plaid Halter Dress ($203.00 on sale at Net-a-Porter)

Lux High Plains Drifter Dress ($48.00 at Urban Outfitters)

Sleevless Stripe Shirt ($22.80 at Forever 21)

Plaid Babydoll Dress ($22.00 at Forever 21)

I was flipping through the new Nylon just last night taking notice of the plaid and thinking how I was feeling it. I like the western wear style plaid better than the madras style myself, but maybe that is the Texas in me.

Immediately when I saw that plaid shirtdress from Urban Outfitters I loved it, I loved the whole look, from the model to the wide belt, to the model's chopped up side mullet hair =). You know what they say, great minds.....

ohhh, I really love the Lux drifter dress. It's so affordable to boot. Speaking of boots, it would go well with my chocolate brown vintage riding boots that I recently procured for a mear $70. Hmmm. I might look too Brooklyn hipster...or I might be super comfy and sorta cute? I'll check back in if I get it. I'm really leaning toward "I must have it!".
