Skincare Products I'm Loving Lately from Kinerase and St. Ives

As most of you know one of my beauty goals for 2008 is all about skincare and having/maintaining great skin. I tried out the Kinerase Instant Radiance Facial Peel ($75) and was very excited about the results. I have sensitive skin and the peel worked flawlessly on my skin. The box comes with 15 single package treatments that you just swab on all over your face. I used it every night for 5 days straight and my skin feels smoother and has a glow that I love. I even had some oily trouble spots before but it seems to be all balanced now!

A couple months ago my friend Nancy had a St. Ives party at her house and we got new products to try out. (You'll notice St. Ives has a whole new branding and redesign of their packaging!) The one product I am in absolute love with is the St. Ives Elements Microdermabrasion ($7.99 at Drugstore.com). The small beads are soft on your skin and yet they effectively exfoliate dead skin cells to keep your skin feeling soft! I use this a few times a week.

oh thanks for the tips, my skin is all out of wack recently with all the climate changes i've been going through. it's particularly feeling tired and old. boo.

Hi J,
Yes it's different from the apricot scrub. I used to use that which is more of a sand/grainy feel. The microderm one is so much better. They are like clear light beads that gently scrub so it's not harsh. It feels really good when you scrub because it's gentle.

Thank you for the Kinerase review! I'm always curious about their products but hesitant to drop around $100 without knowing how well they work. I may have to try this someday.

Any difference between the microdermabrasion & the traditional Apricot scrub?
