Best Dressed at 2008 CFDA Awards

The Oscars of the fashion world is the CFDA awards (Council of Fashion Designers of America) which happened on Monday at the NY Public Library. Marc Jacobs sports his new glam and buff look, moving on from waifish Sofia to a sexy diva like Victoria Beckham. Ok, she may not be the best dressed at the CFDA but I just love her sense of attitude and look, she's almost smiling in the picture.
The new fashion trend that night seemed to be all about loose baggy pants. Yes ladies, those pants seemed to be creeping back into style but looks fresh on the likes of Naomi Campbell as well as Maggie Gyllenhaal.

Kim Raver in a dress that looks like she sewed 4 different outfits in a matter of minutes before she stepped out the door.
I adore Maggie Gyllenhaal's look. So glad you posted the picture of she and Ashley Olsen as I just snagged some odd black slacks at H&M with a very high waist that taper at the ankles. Think a much hipper MC Hammer pant. Anyway these pictures give me an idea about what shoes and top I should pair with them! I was fashion lost, but thanks to this I am found :)

I have to say that Victoria looks downright skeletal. I had a difficult time looking at the photo without wincing. Lovely dress, though.
