While we are all eagerly awaiting the French movie of Coco Chanel's life starring Audrey Tatou, we'll have to make do with the upcoming Lifetime movie on Coco Chanel starring Shirley McLaine as the older Coco. The movie which premieres September 13th, looks surprisingly good covering both Coco's life in the beginning (young Coco is played by Barbara Bobulova) and later on when she became successful. Although I admit it feels more like a British period movie, I'm glad there aren't over done French accents here so we can at least enjoy the story about this fashion icon. Set your DVR ladies!
