This Fall, one of the must have colors is no longer yellow, it's purple in all it's jewel-toned richness. What better way to show off the color of the season by wearing this JCrew Double-Cloth Lady Day Coat ($330) in a vibrant shade of violet. Pair purple with black for that extra bit of richness.
Here are more purple picks:

Mercerized Cotton Henley ($45 at JCrew)

Dolce Vita Cocoon Dress ($198 at Shopbop)

Mariela Crochet Top ($22.90 at Forever 21)

See by Chloe Patent Let's Party Clutch ($325 at Shopbop)

In response to the first comment, I think purple is still a good trend since most people don't usually wear it. It would also look hot with tomato reds, AND with summer's yellows! Ooh I love recycling :) I also love that coat in the first pic, it is divine!

Purple is my favorite color, so it's nice to see this blog. Thank you for sharing.

For some reason I've never been a purple person, as much royal as it can be, I've never bought anything purple. The closest I've gone is fusia, which I'm guessing is pink+purple - same family...

I've not been a purple fan until now - can't wait to wear it into fall...such a gorgeous, rich colour. No wonder royalty of ancient times loved it so.

The colour you should have for this season is purple. The colour you should be wearing in fall is Tomato Red...
Wear purple in the autumn if you love it. Don't wear it if you want to be on trend.
