Little Coquette - Embroidered Vintage Gloves

My friend Julie of Subversive Cross Stitch sent me a little pre-baby gift that I will always treasure. Just look at these vintage gloves with "Little Coquette" embroidered on them! So adorable! This will definitely be a part of the nursery decor. Julie bought them from Etsy seller Doublespeak who takes these vintage beauties and embroiders little subversive sayings on them.

Coquette Things - Flats

I love ballet flats and the new Steve Madden Tipie flats ($69.95 - $79.95 for lepoard) are extra sweet with a patent leather quilted tip and soft suede. The only problem right now is that they aren't quite out yet but you can pre-order them now off the Steve Madden site or just sit tight for another few weeks until they get into the department stores. Flats are now going beyond basic black so here's your chance to experiment with different colors, prints, and textures.

Stripes seem to never go out of season and this spring they are reinterpreted in all different shapes and styles. Christy Turlington pictured here showed off her stripes French style complete with scarf and beret, back in Vogue 1993.
