I'm pretty addicted to taking photos on my iPhone and sharing it via Instagram. So I though it would be fun to post up some of my favorite photos from the week. You can follow me on Instagram via coquettenatalie.
Here are my favorites from this past week:
Cutie Lulu! I just can't get enough of this little pom of mine. Here she is all groomed.
My favorite french lemonade from The Butler and the Chef. A wonderful french lunch shared with Tami from Fete a Fete.
I love shopping at Jo-Ann's Fabric and drooling over all the colors of thread. Wish I could have my entire craft room wall covered in these spools!
Feeling spring fashion with a green pleated skirt, yellow stripe cardi, and my Coach shoulder bag/clutch. A teaser photo for an outfit post to come soon on the blog!
If you are in the LA area, don't miss DIY fashion queen Erica Domesek of P.S. - I Made This... at Fred Segal on Wednesday, November 17th from 7:30pm to 10pm. Erica will be signing copies of her new book and will be DIY'ing Fred Segal totes. Cocktails will be served!

Coquette readers will get a special deal on jewelry at Kris Nations, including her new Fall collection! Get 25% off everything on the site by adding the code coquette25 in your shopping cart. Sale runs through next Monday, July 28th.
My friend Julie of Subversive Cross Stitch sent me a little pre-baby gift that I will always treasure. Just look at these vintage gloves with "Little Coquette" embroidered on them! So adorable! This will definitely be a part of the nursery decor. Julie bought them from Etsy seller Doublespeak who takes these vintage beauties and embroiders little subversive sayings on them.
You can find more vintage gloves at Doublespeak and here are a few others that are bound to be classics.
This Les Femmes Dish Set from Delight.com is the perfect set of plates for all you fashionistas! I've seen many fashion style plates before but these ones take the cake for the beautiful vintage style fashion illustrations and the french typography. Oh la la! Serve your special appetizers when the girls come over for wine or use the plates as artwork on your walls. Only $26.55 until 11:59am CST, May 31st but still a deal at $29.50 everyday. Hurry up before time runs out to buy these stylish plates.
I love ballet flats and the new Steve Madden Tipie flats ($69.95 - $79.95 for lepoard) are extra sweet with a patent leather quilted tip and soft suede. The only problem right now is that they aren't quite out yet but you can pre-order them now off the Steve Madden site or just sit tight for another few weeks until they get into the department stores. Flats are now going beyond basic black so here's your chance to experiment with different colors, prints, and textures.
A girl can never have too many flats, so here's some of my picks for flats this season:
I don't know yet if I can really start to wear leggings this fall (I did already in the 80s) but I really love the look of the long and lean silhouette, especially for dresses and tunics. This Free People Heather Cargo Dress ($118) would work well with a pair of skinny jeans. There seems to be more things coming up this fall that really matches comfort with style (as well as the signature neutral colors) so I've found some of my favorites here.
It's summer but all the coolest looks seemed to be centered on crochet. Hence July's theme for Coquette Things. From simple details to full dresses, like this Sky Crochet Tube Top ($64). Check out all these crochet looks and learn how to do it yourself.
In honor of Sunday's final World Cup game France vs. Italy, I've gathered here all things bleu so we can celebrate French victory properly and of course, be stylish. Here's the perfect summer tank ($16) from Urban Outfitters to wear with jeans when your rooting on your favorite team at the corner bar while looking sexy around all the boys. (Naturellement!)
