Diana Eng brings you a stylish new version of the macaoni necklaces you loved as a kid with her Farfalle Bowtie Pasta Necklace ($60 for brass, $75 for hand painted enamel on brass, $120 for sterling silver). Each necklace is cast from a mold of real farfalle pasta and created with the lost wax process in brass and sterling silver. Each pasta is finished by hand. Hand painted enamel patterns are available in Lavender Stripe, Black Tie, Teal Dot, as well as a polished Sterling Silver option.
Whenever I used to work craft fairs, my favorite thing to do was to take a break and walk around to admire and shop for jewelry. Leslie Yang of Feistyelle was always one of my favorites as she showed off her gorgeous bold earrings, necklaces, hair clips, and brooches. All of her pieces are designed and made by hand in San Francisco and feature pieces inspired by nature. Feistyelle is committed to using eco friendly materials like bamboo ply, 100% wool felt, and vegan suede.
The best way to refresh your wardrobe is with jewelry and I love that feistyelle's pieces don't break the bank. In fact, her jewelry was featured on The Today Show in a segment called Fashion Emergency (Jewelry $12 and Up). I also love her No Earring Left Behind policy where you can order a replacement earring if you lose just one of them. Brilliant right?
Coquette is giving away a pair of stacked lotus earrings, one of Feistyelle's most popular pieces. These earrings are not only soft and unbelievably light but they are also reversible! They can be worn 6 different ways. Featuring vegan suede, a thin, super strong textile made from recycled polyester film. The earrings also use silkscreened water-based gold ink on one side for a glimmery reversible effect. Measurements: 1 3/8 x 1 1/2 inches Hoops are 14K gold fill. Retail price is $29.

Rachel Zoe's new jewelry collection just launched exclusively on Neiman Marcus. The collection of art deco inspired costume jewelry feels as if you are almost taking a dip into Rachel's vintage jewelry collection. Wear them for an evening out or choose a statement piece for work. Her cuffs are amazing but my favorite pieces are her earrings, especially these Rhinestone Tassel Drop Earrings ($285). The tassel earrings feature 14K yellow gold plated metal with black cabochon and pave crystal rhinestones. The earrings also pair nicely with the Wide Crystal Bracelet ($495).
Here are more of my favorites from Rachel Zoe's new jewelry collection at Neiman Marcus:
As previously reported on Coquette by Leigh back in March (post here), Coach is coming out with the new Coach Legacy Collection for Fall 2012. The bags, accessories, and shoes pay homage to their classic designs with some modern updates. I can't resist the candy colors, I've had my eye on the blue legacy duffle ($348) one since Leigh posted the photos last March but now that I've seen the color block version below, I'm sold on the blue, red, and tan duffle.
The bags have already been spotted by celebs like Kristen Bell and Rachel Bilson. The relaxed and stylish duffle bags are perfect for both work and play. The line of bags, shoes, and accessories will be available in select Coach boutiques and you can shop by color on Coach.com.
Hoop earrings are a staple in my collection. I love how easily they can create a stylish look. I just bought these Kris Nations Large Gold Hoop Earrings ($68 at krisnations.com) a few months ago and have been wearing them all the time. Kris is a good friend of mine and I swear whenever I am wearing her earrings or necklaces, I get tons of compliments. I love these hoops because they are so light and thin that they don't overpower my face. Gold hoops are just perfect for day and evening. They are also easy for travel when you want to accessorize on your vacation. The earrings are reclaimed 14K gold filled and you can also get it in silver or reclaimed 14K rose gold.
I had an amazing crochet lunch today with my crafty friends: Lorraine and Guinevere from Chronicle Books, as well as our crochet expert Dolin "Crochet" O'Shea from Lulu Bliss. Our inspiration was this new book, So Pretty! Crochet by Amy Palanjian and the crochet ring necklace (pictured below). I had never crocheted with embroidery thread over rings before so this was a fun new technique to try. It was also fun to see newbie crocheters like Guinevere and Lorraine learn the stitches and get excited as they finished a crocheted circle.
Here are Instagram photos from us this afternoon. Just seeing them again makes me feel all cozy.
This project was by Victoria of Lavenderfield and you can see a closer view of the necklace above and more beautiful crochet jewelry by Victoria on Amy Palanjian's blog.
I like that I can stash these little plastic circles, embroidery thread, and crochet hook in my bag and crochet a little circle to add to a stash that will eventually turn into this necklace. it's a great gift to make for friends too.
