I have always loved color. I usually get inspired by the colors of the season's fashion collection and usually use them in my own design work. I also have a deep love for fashion illustration, so when I came across Pantone (the experts in color) with their Fashion Color Report for Fall 2005 (pdf), I was in bliss. The colors this Fall are rich deep hues of red, blue, green, and brown. Perfect as I am searching for a winter coat this season.
I also took a peek at Spring 2006 (pdf) and saw collectively softer, paler hues of neutral tones and light blues, giving everything a much more airy feeling. I'm looking forward to the soft feminine colors.
For now, I'm just enjoying these Fashion Color Reports. I've actually printed them out just to be able to see all the different colors and illustration styles of all the fashion designers.
