I've been looking for some stylish sunglasses for a few months lately. Ever since I lost my Kate Spade sunglasses 2 1/2 years ago on a train in France going to Monet's Garden in Giverney, I have been a bit lost. Back in October, I broke a really cute pair that I got for 5 bucks at Forever 21. My emergency sunglasses proved well and now I needed to really splurge on a stylish pair of good quality.
Today it happened during my lunch hour and it only took me 5 minutes to decide. I found these new Chanel sunglasses that are a part of the new Spring 2006 collection. The frames aren't too big or too small, and the logo isn't too sparkly bling, more subdued. But the glasses just feel so darn good on. The lenses are fantastic. Hello world! I can see!!!
What sucks is that they had no more new ones in the brown tortoise shell so I actually have to wait a few days for it ship in from the east coast. I can't believe its not even Spring and they were selling them out in the store! It could be just a California thing since it has been so nice and sunny lately.
