Most of this trip to France is family holiday fare, but I did get a chance to go to my 2 favorite huge shopping stores in Paris, Printemps and Galeries Lafayette. Let me say, it was SO CROWDED here even though its been freezing cold weather. What's so great about these stores? They have just about everything you need, all the brands, under one roof. Which in this case of cold weather, its nice because I don't really want to be sauntering down the streets. At Printemps, I bought a cute cream colored angora/wool beret and these cool black suede casual flat boots from the French shoe brand, Minelli. I haven't gotten a chance to take a picture of them yet, but they work well for the weather here and also look cool with my Stella jeans tucked in them.
I didn't get anything at Galeries Lafayette even as I was constantly searching the store for a cool winter coat. It is just so overwhelming in there. Alas, after a few hours of shopping, it got annoyingly crowded and the heaters were way too hot so we decided to leave and freeze our butts off at the eiffel tower.
