Over the holidays when I was in France, my future in-laws know how much I love fashion and got me this beautiful book for Christmas. (They also read Coquette through google French translation so...Bonjour Jean-Marie et Danielle! Merci por le livre! Je l'aime beaucoup!) It's called SAMPLE 100 Fashion Designers - 10 Curators, from Phaidon press (My book is in French and is called "Echantillon"). The book itself is amazingly beautiful with its intricate design of folded paper for the cover tied together with an elastic band and a fabric label for the title.
I finally got a chance to go through the book in detail and I am just completely in love with it. Covering all the major fashion capitals of the world, the book has photos, sketches, runway shots, behind the scenes, anything someone in love with fashion will love to look at.
The book site has a ton of sample images you can browse through and I love that the site mimics the book design. But you really can't beat the experience of looking at everything through this hardcover book.
