I normally am not a video game geek or particularly gravitate towards things that don't involve Pac Man or Donkey Kong. Right now, I am borrowing my friend Ryan's Nintendo DS lite (because he got a new one) and it is the best thing ever. I'm using the older version which is a big larger. Now I'm ready to plunk down $129 to get the new one. Let's see. It's sleek, compact, wireless, and hey what the hell, it's a new gadget!
Update 6/28: Nintendo just announced in Japan there's a new pink version! It will cost you a bit more money (around $200) because you need to buy it from Japan but could be worth it. More info here.
I am particularly addicted to this game Nintendodogs - Daschund & Friends. I know 10 year old girls are playing this and I'm 33 but I don't care. I am now taking care of Ryan's two dogs Tuppy (like this one pictured here) and Wolf. I totally am diligent about checking in on them which makes Gilles laugh. I have been wanting a dog for so long at least playing with this is the next best thing to when we can get a real dog. I love playing with them. It's kinda freaky how I am falling for them. I didn't add any flowers to Ryan's pup but it sure does look cute! I think if I get my own game I want to get the Chihuahua & Friends version full of cute small dogs.
We also are borrowing another friend's Play Station 2 for the summer and Ryan let me borrow his Katamari game. Again, I played it all weekend and I'm addicted. I want to roll everything I see now. I sing that damn humming song in my head at night. He gave me 2 other games to borrow and check out but I have been completely absorbed by this world of rollin'.
