One of my favorite stores in London, Topshop, is coming to the US, launching what it says to be a retail experience like no other in New York City. The location in New York and launch date are still unknown. (via NY Times article.) I love the Topshop store in Oxford Circus which was huge with 4 floors that seem to go on and on. The only annoying thing was that it was crowded and busy all the time. It's a great place to shop for hip styles and also a place to get the basics like t-shirts and tanks. The clothes I got there three years ago are still pieces I wear all the time. They also have some great accessories and of course, shoes. Everything is really affordable at Topshop and in London with the exchange rate that's saying a lot.
Also from the article, they plan to expand their Web site in Sept offering "about 800 styles, or all of what is available in its London stores." Which means those of us who can't make it over to London or NY, can buy the clothes online (as we do so well). Now if only the Office (cool hip affordable shoe store in the UK) will come to the US!
