This past Saturday Gilles and I were roaming around Union Square in SF but I realized I had to go to the bathroom. We were right by Saks so we decided to go in there. I haven't been inside much since they've remodeled the store. The bathrooms are not at the bottom floor by the shoes like they used to be, but rather on the top floor which now has all the trendy young clothes. It's totally redone and reminds me of Barney's. I passed racks of fall Marc Jacobs (cute coats) and almost forgot I had to go pee. I also passed the Fall collection of Vince and made a major "note to self" to come back fast before Gilles. You can never mess with a girl on a shopping mission and I came out of the bathroom hurriedly to try on this amazing long striped sweater ($285). It's perfect for fall (and actually I'm wearing it today since it's a bit cold and cloudy). I love the pin which lets you wear it in so many different ways. I like the belt look pictured here too.
But this photo of Kate Moss wearing this sweater made me fall hard for it. I like the way she's wearing it. I saw this on Closet Therapy (I love CT! Bookmark that blog!) last month and have been obsessed by it. So it was pretty handy that it was right there for me to try on. I was supposed to by bridesmaid shoes for a friends wedding I'm in and instead of course, went shopping for myself. What else is new...
I loved a few other sweaters from Vince that were also on the rack. Most of the sweaters are a cashmere blend so they are super soft and stylish but not too pricey.
Here's more looks from Vince:
Tunic Sweater ($275)
Empire-Waist Sweater ($245)
Open Front Cashmere Cardigan ($275)
Cashmere Hoodie ($240)
