FWD reports that Kate and Andy Spade, the creative team behind Kate Spade and Jack Spade, are stepping down -- he as CEO and she as head designer. Even though they will both be on the board still, I'm sad to see this amazing woman step back from designing. I got my first Kate Spade bag, you know the classic black nylon one, at her botique on Robertson Blvd in LA in the late 90's.
