Catherine Malandrino Spring 2008 Fashion Show
09.08.2007
From bright bold colors to applique-styled designs Catherine Malandrino's spring collection had everything in the details. From the ornate glass beads that decorated a neckline to the scalloped tiring of a dress, I just wanted to look at every outfit close up in this collection. Her eye for color is apparent here and I loved the mixing of colors such as a tan and black printed belt with a fuchsia top. The applique pieces were also exquisite mixing shapes, colors, and different fabric textures into a work of art. I also loved the classic styling of her black and white outfits -- crisp white wide leg pants tied with a black belt or flowy print dresses.
Key Looks: flowy dresses, bold prints and colors, skirts and pants tied with a belt, ornate shoulders and necklines.
Key Colors: classic black and white together. metalic silver. bright hues such as orange, fuchsia, green, and red.
