Going on the Early Show, I wasn't sure if my feet were going to show or not. It depended on if I was going to be sitting with the host on the chair or just standing. The segment was originally set to be outside on 5th avenue in front of the Apple store and their studios but due to rain, it all got moved in doors. So what you didn't see on TV, were my favorite recent purchase, these cool Report Signature Woman's Billy Bootie ($147.89 on Endless.com). Of course I went shopping a few days before I left N, with my own personal stylist - my gay best friend, Ryan. I needed him to help me get my look together because of my lack of sleep from working so much. Ryan always tells me like it is, even when I look like crap so I knew having him along would give me a true honest opinion that most store saleswomen do not do. He found me this amazing bootie to go with my Anthropologie Textile Study Shift dress (posted here back in my grey round up).
Ryan also picked out these Ash Kinks Two Strap Ankle Booties ($195 at Shopbop - pictured here are the patent version, mine are just black leather). I ended up wearing these booties all over NY. They are really comfortable and totally fashionable with jeans or anything! Ryan says he needs to trademark his new shopping service, "Ask a Homo". Thanks Ryan!
