Yesterday evening, I had the pleasure of hanging out with my friend Felicia Sullivan as she's traveling the west coast on a book tour for her memoir, The Sky Isn't Visible from Here. The book is a poignant tale of Felicia as she grew up with a unstable, drug-addict mother. We had a great dinner where we spent most of the conversation freaked out over the plot line of Gossip Girl. Then headed over to The Booksmith for her talk. She's an amazing speaker and I was blown away and moved by her reading. Plus she's had baked goods at her book talk! You can't go wrong with cookies people!

If you are in the LA area, take a visit to her next 2 book events here:
Friday, May 9: LOS ANGELES, CA
Book Soup, 8818 W Sunset Blvd., 7:00 pm
Saturday, May 10: PASADENA, CA
Vroman’s Bookstore, 695 E. Colorado Blvd., 4:00 pm

I of course snagged an autographed copy of the book and I'm excited to start reading it!
