Budget Sweater Finds at Forever 21

It's no secret that I love to shop for budget finds at Forever 21. If you can handle browsing in the crowded store, you can usually find a few key pieces that turn out to be what I'd like to call seasonal wardrobe highlights. You know, something in the range of 20 bucks that you end up wearing all the time for that season and then happily let it go. I love the look of the Asha Open Front Cardigan ($27.80) shown above with out the waist tie.

With the cold weather coming in, I'm on the search for a new coat. I love this Diane von Furstenberg Trente Coat ($595 at Shopbop) for it's chevron-striped tweed, button details, and big square pockets. So cute!

Felt Club in LA - Sunday November 16th

If I wasn't about to have this baby soon, I'd be off to LA to shop at one of the coolest holiday fairs ever, Felt Club. The Felt Club Holiday 2008 event is happening in just a week! Mark your calendars for Sunday, November 16th where Felt Club is happening from 11am to 7pm at the Shrine Auditorium's Expo Center (700 W. 32nd St).

There will be some amazing indie artists and crafters selling their wares so it's the perfect time to do your holiday shopping early! Check out the vendor list and updates on the Felt Club blog.

Painting the Town with Red Flats

As we cozy up in fall, there's nothing I love more than finding ways to add a splash of color to your outfits. That's why I think red flats are such an essential to a fall wardrobe. Paired with tights as shown left above, it's a great way to make an outfit fresh. These Juicy Couture Moxy Patent Flats ($190 at Net-A-Porter) are super sweet looking and the gold buckle is the trend to spot for.

The Ultimate Makeup Palette from Sephora

I love a makeup artist's palette. Even though I don't wear much makeup, just looking at the variety of colors and hues makes me happy. Whenever I get to work photoshoots, I love checking out what the makeup artist has. So when I came across the Sephora Ultimate Blockbuster Collector's Edition, I think I started to drool. This palette is like the ultimate sampler with just about EVERYTHING: 71 eyeshadow shades, 13 cream eyeshadow shades, 5 blushes, 1 compact powder, 60 lip glosses, one lip liner, one eyeliner, 4 brushes, 3 sponge-tipped applicators. All of this for just $48!! Quite a steal for the perfect one stop makeup shop for the upcoming holiday party circuit.

Ombre Gray

Kate Moss Topshop Christmas Collection 08

The highly successful Kate Moss Topshop line has just launched their Christmas 08 Collection. Pictured above (L to R) is the Prom Dress ($135) and the Heart Print Dress ($125).

Apparently this Leopard mini dress was the most sought after at Topshop stores in London after Kate was seen wearing it at the Vivienne Westwood show. It sold out in 20 minutes online. [ via NYMag]

Sculpted Grace at Anthropologie

I think I've been really inspired lately by Leanne Marshall, winner of Project Runway 5 and her designs with layers of ruffles and curves. This Anthropologie slideshow on Sculpted Grace has me excited for the looks of fall with a more subdued detailed ruffle look. My favorite pieces are the Can-Can Pencil Skirt ($98), Terrain Tales Sweater ($98, also in black), Fanned Flames Blouse ($178), and the Echo, Echo Dress ($158).
