Golden Globes Recap - It's All About the Accessories

Last night's Golden Globes red carpet was nothing spectacular. There wasn't much glamour as I had hoped. Everyone looked so typically Hollywood they cancelled each other out. Right now though, I can't get out of my mind how stunning Eva Mendes looked with her Bridget Bardot hair and turquoise necklace. Her look really was all about that turquoise necklace (that I can't get out of my head at this point). I found myself gravitating towards the more unusual glimmers of style like these below.

I know some people are mixed over Drew Barrymore's look but I loved her Galliano dress with tousled and teased hair.

I love the mix of gold jewelry that compliments the mustard yellow dress of "Slumdog Millionaire" actress Freida Pinto's dress.

Vanessa Hudgens' Alberta Ferretti beaded dress got a bit of vintage flair with her layered long beaded necklaces. It pulled the look together and with her neutral makeup looks all grown up way beyond her High School Musical years.

We haven't seen Sandra Bullock on the red carpet in a long time and I loved her daring snake bracelet and the splash of turquoise in her large cocktail ring and clutch.

The Return of CK One

Remember CK One? Now the unisex fragrance is coming back on Jan 20th, which happens to be Obama's Inauguration Day. The new ad campaign aand a limited edition version set into a base that has a removable MP3 speaker which will retail for $50 (pictured above). Madonna's Louis Vuitton Ads

Check out Madonna's new ads for Louis Vuitton dubbed "raunchy" by UK's Daily Mail. Let's face it. We all know Madonna and by all means these ads are not raunchy. In fact, it seems like a perfect mix of Madonna's personality and style mixed in with the fashion brand.

It's really hard to not to take advantage of all the good sales that are happening now, especially shopping online. This textured cropped jacket is only $34.99 at the Gap. I love the ladylike look and it's classic style -- an essential piece for your closet.

French actress Marion Cotillard (Oscar winner in La Vie En Rose) is the beautiful new spokesmodel for Lady Dior in the first of 4 ads set in iconic cities by photographer Peter Lindbergh. I love this first one is set atop the Eiffel Tower where Marion wears John Galliano while clutching her Lady Dior Cannage Bag ($1800 at eLuxury). The LadyDior.com web site also has a video interview as well as a behind the scenes video of the photoshoot. Plus soon you can find out what's in her bag.
