Yes, Virginia you can make your own makeup! I've been using mineral makeup powder for the last few months now and love it! I had no idea though how easy it is to make it yourself until I stumbled across this DIY Mineral Makeup tutorial by scoochmaroo on Instructables.

When I lived near Hayes Valley, I used to get off the bus a few stops ahead just so I could wander down Hayes street and browse around at one of my favorite shoe stores, Gimme Shoes. Get a preview of the Vince Fall 2009 collection at Neiman Marcus now. I seem to buy a new Vince sweater each season because they are perfect year round in SF. I'm eyeing this Vince Chunky Cable-Knit Jacket ($335 at Neiman Marcus) for it's cool stripes and cozy chunkiness. Does anyone know the belt they used for this photoshoot? It's in almost all the photos and I love the look of it. Yet I don't see it for sale as a belt option.
