Golden Globes 2010 Best Dressed

I know everyone has their own top choice but to me last night, best dressed went to Kate Hudson. Her Marchesa strapless silk crepe gown with sculptured band bodice and bottom flared skirt was modern, architectural, and looked simply stunning on her. Paired with her Stephen Russell tassel earrings (see my earrings post here), the girl looked impeccable!

Project Runway Season 7 & HP TouchSmart PCs

A new season of Project Runway starts Thursday, January 14th at 10pm ET/PT on Lifetime! Classic Nautical Stripes for Spring

There's a huge nautical influence coming up for Spring (note my previous post on ropes in fashion). My all-time favorite are nautical stripes. Navy and white or black and white -- you take your pick. This look is timeless as seen from Coco Chanel in the 1930's, Audrey Tatou playing Chanel in the movie Coco Avant Chanel, and they lovely Audrey Hepburn from the 1960's. Pair these easy, breezy t-shirts with a single long-chain necklace (pearls, beads, or otherwise a la Chanel) and prepare to update your stripy look for spring 2010.

Pretty Cameos

Cameos are timeless and I love this Ooo La La Paris 14K Gold-filled Necklace ($28) by Nest Pretty Things by Tamar on Etsy. (You can also check out her beautiful blog, Nest Decorating.) How adorable is it mixed in with the eiffel tower and "oui" charm? I don't know what it is lately -- maybe too many BBC Jane Austen movies for me, but I'm starting to get a little obsessed with cameos!
