About Marc Jacobs
Marc Jacobs, known for his retro, yet functional brands that include clothing, bags, shoes, home accessories and fragrances, designed the first collection of hand-knit sweaters for his namesake label in 1986. In 1994, he and his business partner, Robert Duffy, officially launched the Marc Jacobs signature line of womenswear. Four years later, Jacobs launched his more affordable diffusion line, Marc by Marc Jacobs.
