I recently had the pleasure of previewing the NARS summer collection at a special bloggers breakfast in SF and wanted to give a shout out to a few of my favorites and new-to-me discoveries. I've been a long time fan of NARS (multiple stick and lip gloss) so I was excited to have the chance to see the new products and beautiful colors.
At the top of my list is NARS Pro-Prime. I got to try out two of these: Skin Smoothing Face Prep ($30) and the Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Base ($24). Both of these smooth out your skin and creates a protective base so your makeup lasts longer! What was amazing is that I could see the difference of how much smoother and clearer my face looked with the Pro-Prime than without. It feels so light and airy, you don't even know it's on your skin. This is definitely going to be a part of my putting on makeup routine!
Maggie Gyllenhaal at Met Opera Gala wears the PRO-PRIME Smudge-Proof Eyeshadow Base and Demi Moore (at the Met Gala) wears both the eyeshadow base and the PRO-PRIME Face Prep and both remarked at how they loved how long their makeup lasted for the night!
I've always loved the NARS multiple sticks and this summer you can choose from three bright new colors. The NARS Multiple Tints come in Beverly Hills, Turks & Caicos, and my favorite Cadeques. Pop these in your handbag or beach tote for summer kissed cheeks and stained lips. LOVE!
Summer beauty is all about ease. I love the new NARS Pure Sheer SPF Lip treatment for the way it keeps my lips moist with a hint of color. My favorite is Paloma. These little sticks are compact and can fit in the pocket of your jeans when you are on the go.
