Once in a while I find major gems at Old Navy (previously it was my black hooded empire waist bubble jacket which I sadly lost on the street - sigh). I tend not to shop there because I wore Old Navy maternity so much for the course of a year (pregnancy and a few months after Chloe) that frankly I'm sick of them. But there are wonderful beauties you can find that don't necessarily scream "Old Navy", if you know what I mean. Case in point is this Ruffle-Neck Chambray Dress that's only $29.50! It's a great summer dress and comes in two tones, a blue chambray and dark tone chambray (which I bought). It's just an easy breezy summer dress that's a perfect canvas for you to accessorize with!
I just received this Chan Luu Beaded Belt/Scarf ($45 at Calypso St. Barth) today and am loving how light it actually is and sparkly too! It's been fun figuring out the various ways to wear it wrapped around your neck and waist! The neutral Fawn color was out of stock back in May so I was happy to find out that it was back in stock last week and ordered it right away. (It is also available in Olive.) It's a great way to dress up a casual out fit as well as a dress for an evening out. The tiny beads are woven into elastic thread and so far it seems quite durable.
I was inspired by Lauren Conrad's Isabel Marant chain-mail scarf wrap necklace that she wore on the cover of Glamour magazine, but thought that: 1) chain mail would be too heavy and 2) the $290 price tag was way too much for a fun piece of trendy jewelry.

Last week I got the chance to take a press tour of the Levi's Workshop located in the heart of the Mission district. Levi's Workshop is a special pop-up shop that celebrates the history of printing that lasts through the end of August. Visitors can come in during open hours and check out the vintage printing machines or try their hand at silkscreening or rubber stamping. Twilight's Ashley Greene sports Rebecca Minkoff's Nubuck Boyfriend bag ($295 at Rebecca Minkoff), a new pre-fall nubuck leather version in military-inspired olive green. (Also comes in gray with silver hardware, and tomato with gold hardware.) I'm a huge fan of the small cross-body bag where you can easily hold all your essentials to go out on the town. The stylish chain-link strap is removable so it can even double as a cute clutch for an evening out. And I love the look of the double buckles which makes it look like a luxe mini-messenger bag.
I'm off to Paris and the southwest of France soon and I'm deciding on the Alligator Boyfriend ($325 at Rebecca Minkoff) for my trip. Right now my hardest decision is deciding between the classic black or the neutral gray alligator which looks so cool with it's silver hardware. Which one would you choose?

I love the arabesque pillow ($100), fiji dress ($160), pintuck blouse ($100), and mosaic scarf ($90).
Scarves are an essential for me in San Francisco, even in the summer because you never know when the wind will break through. I love using breezy and light ones in the summer so I can use it as a layering as well as fashion piece. To introduce me to the new Lands' End Canvas brand, I received a Women's Slub Cotton Scarf ($19.50) for review. I choose the Gray Heather Stripe scarf to give me a sporty nautical look when I wear a simple solid color t-shirt and jeans. It's a great way to bring a pop to any outfit!
There are a bunch of scarves that are now reduced to $11.99 such as this orange spice and soft fern colors above. I may need to snatch a few more up before.

The Vivienne Tam sale is happening on Gilt right now and I just picked up this silk jersey surplice dress for $199 (retails for $495). I've been eyeing this dress ever since I saw it coming down the runway at the Vivienne Tam show last fall. It's the perfect dress to wear in Paris next month, no? Estée Lauder's new Advanced Night Repair Eye Synchronized Complex is the new serum that helps reduced the look of aging around the delicate eye area. I recently received a test product and was excited to try it out!
The serum is easy to apply using the accompanying applicator. With a few gentle dabs around your eye area each evening (and morning if you'd like) you can combat those pesky fine lines, dark circles and puffiness. As someone with delicate skin, the serum felt great and hydrated my typically dry skin. I've noticed that the skin in my eye area looks brighter. My usual dark circles (thanks to my toddler) starting to go away. As someone who doesn't wear makeup everyday, taking care of my skin is essential to me, especially around my eye area where the first signs of aging usually appear.
I'll be documenting my progress with Advanced Night Repair Eye here on Coquette this summer and will let you all know how it's working on me.
