I haven't watched the People's Choice Awards in years but decided to last night after I saw all the tweets pop up on my computer. It got me excited for the start of awards season because I love watching red carpet fashion (and laugh at the commentary). To be honest there wasn't that much fashion that night, mostly it was one big commercial for new movies, the Twilight series, and for Taylor Swift. (Heck, even Johnny Depp was starry-eyed over lil Taylor.) The surprise look of the evening and appearance was supermodel Niki Taylor wearing a stunning sleek black dress by Donna Karan. Niki was there on behalf of Covergirl helping to promote their new contest at the awards show.

My second favorite at the awards show was Natalie Portman who showed off her wee baby bump for the first time in a ruffled Jason Wu dress with mesh Dior pumps. She's just adorable in anything.

Gotta love this sweet Taylor Swift! She did this organza embroidered strapless dress by Jenny Packham well. Majorly well! Makes you think there's nothing she can't wear. She seems unstoppable these days!

Finally Kristen Stewart looked amazing in a Reem Acra dress, but when she wasn't fidgeting or hiding behind her hair. This photo is the cutest one of her because she's standing still. On air though, she seemed so majorly uncomfortable in the dress that I wish she just wore a less sparkly one and just wore pants instead. Don't forget, how you wear and carry the dress is more important than the dress itself!
