The theme of the DKNY Fall 2011 show was: Show Me Something New York.
"Inspired by the modernists in New York City, Fall is a sexy study of graphic lines, colors and textures pulled together with a fresh ingénue spirit... Young, carefree and full of color. Ready to hop on a scooter and take on life in the big city. Something New York..."
Here are my favorite looks:

The show started off with a simple black, gray, and creme palette.
As the show moved forward, bold shots of color emerged: lipstick, tangella, henna, foundation and blush.
Then came the beautiful colorblocked dresses! I loved both the mini and the ankle length dress versions with lovely pleats.
Modern coats, tailored capes and puffer coats topped off the super skinny pants/wide leg trousers and mini skirts with colorful angora sweaters and round collar shirts. I adored the cheetah print shearling coat paired with houndstooth plaid mini skirt. So much to love!
