It's Leigh and I'm reporting from New York Fashion Week Fall 2011 where I just came from the Vivienne Tam Fall 2011 fashion show. It is freezing in New York, was snowing on the way in and I've been horribly sick so seeing the wool and tweed on the runway was the perfect warm-up. I wanted to leave with one of the cozy cable knit sweaters.
There was a lovely balance of tailored jackets/pants and beautfiul feminine and flowy dresses. I loved this beaded flapper dress and this wool tweed jacket is a must have for my closet. Truth be told, I want EVERYTHING!
Another reason, I luv Vivienne and her style is that she always ties in technology. Vivienne worked with Square to create a Tam limited-edition Square credit card reader with double happiness logo as a giveaway. Brilliant!
