Le Grand Col French Cashmere Snood

I've been wearing my Le Col Cashmere snood for way over a year now (I have the cream one) and love it. (Previous Coquette post here.) Based in Paris, Le Col makes the best cashmere tube scarf for such an affordable price. It's goes perfectly with whatever I am wearing and keeps me very cozy and warm, especially the last few days when it's been cold and rainy. I also love how it fits compactly in my handbag so it's on hand whenever I need it. Bring a little bit of French style with you with this stylish scarf!

Blake Lively for Chanel Mademoiselle Handbags

She's come a long way from Gossip Girl! Blake Lively is the new face for Chanel Mademoiselle handbags and the new ad campaign photographed by Karl Lagerfeld is up on the Chanel site. Chanel typically goes for Europeans, and mostly French women for their campaigns so Blake is the first American to be a face for Chanel. The collection features the new "bowling bag" stye handbag in a variety of sizes, as well as a line of wallets. I tried on a couple of these bags recently and liked how you can easily access the bag contents without having to open a clasp, yet the bag is still secure when closed unlike a tote bag style.

Louis Vuitton Fall 2011 - Kate Moss & Naomi Campbell on the Runway

When it comes to fashion week, Paris reminds us that they are in fact, Paris. The stages were more like sets and Louis Vuitton not only had a working elevator, they had the original supermodels, Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell. Marc Jacobs put together a collection that was less about costumes (such as the LV spring collection and it's asian influence) and filed this collection with peter pan collars and hard structured waistlines. You were either ladylike or a sexy vixen. Kate Moss embodied the vixen perfectly as she strutted down the runway in knee-high laced heels and a lit cigarette.

Here are my favorite looks from the runway show:

The outerwear was stellar. I loved the structured waists.

I loved the peter pan collar on the print dresses. Most of the looks were paired with a clutch or top handle bag. Clutches will be ruling fall.

Not sure what this material is but I loved this modern take on shiny sequins.

Doctor Bags for $100 or Less

Spring Essential: Floral Blouses

I love spring's trend of wide-leg jeans and pants. To pull off the look, the perfect blouse is in order. Soft, feminine and flouncy tops work well and nothing is hotter than floral for spring. Make looser tops are belted to make them fresh or find ones that will show off your waistline.
