Simply Chic's "Cuckoo for Coco Party" for Chanel Lovers Tonight

Simply Chic (3038 Filmore Street) is a new boutique in SF that specializes in designer accessories sold on consignment. Look for vintage handbags, trunks, jewelry, shoes, and watches from brands like Chanel and Louis Vuitton.

Come celebrate all things Chanel at their "Cuckoo for Coco" Party tonight (July 13th) from 5:30pm to 7:30pm. More details in the invite below.

Nude Tights Come Back into Fashion

These aren't your grandma's nude hosiery! Sheer nude tights are in thanks to the leggy look that the Duchess, Kate Middleton, has been wearing on her official visits to Canada and the US. Kate wears Falke Shelina 12, an ultra-transparent hosiery that's got a sexy shimmer. These shimmery tights give your legs an even summery tone and the look is just beautiful. I was excited to learn that they also have a toeless version to wear with open-toed shoes. You can find these tights online and at some department stores in the U.S.

Pippa Middleton also rocks the sheer shimmery nude tight look.

Coach's Perfect Flats

You may think of Coach for their beautiful handbags, but they make the most fabulous shoes too. I was reminded of this as I have been on a massive search for a sportier pair of black flats. I wore out my overpriced Tory Burch Edie flats (that I got only a few months ago) and needed something a lot more sturdy. Coach came to my rescue with their stylish and affordable shoes.

I picked up the Sarah Flat ($118) in black. It's an adorable ballet flat in Coach's signature fabric with leather trim. I love that the bow helps keep this sporty flat just plain pretty. But my favorite part is the comfort. Ohh! The thick rubber sole gives the shoe a great cushion and I love the arch support. Perfect for my constant days of walking with my little girl. It's like wearing a sneaker without wearing sneakers! The Sarah Flat comes in black, khaki, and silver.

I also couldn't resist the London Flat ($148) in sparkly Pewter (also in black, navy is on sale for $79). I needed a new metallic flat and this one is so perfect to wear with jeans or even dressed up. These flats are so cute and comfy, that I'm tempted to get these also in navy since they are on sale!

The Duchess Dazzles in DVF

I've been following Duchess Kate's style as she has been traveling throughout Canada and now sunny LA. This dress by far is my favorite and it's Diane Von Furstenberg's Maja Dress in Green ($398). Green is a key color for fall and this silk dress looks great dressed up with heels or styled more casually with boots as seen in the photo below.
