When I first saw the new line of Boy handbags strutting down the Chanel Fall 2011 runway earlier this year, I applauded Chanel's edgier, younger new look but still staying true to the Chanel brand. Chanel was always known to reinterpret men's clothing into comfortable women's wear and the love of her life was named Boy Capel. These boxy Boy bags, like their 2.55 counterparts sans quilting, just oozes coolness with the large adjustable chain strap with leather shoulder and metal accents. These glazed calfskin bags can be worn up high the shoulder, low over the shoulder and even crossbody. l love the design of the simple clasp featuring a very subtle CC logo embossed in a metal piece that looks like it belonged on a futuristic robot from the 60's.
Chanel Boy bags have various sizes and colors. Prices start at $2600 for the small Boy bag. Find out more at a Chanel boutique near you or contact Anita at the San Francisco Chanel boutique on 156 Geary Street at (415) 981-1550.

I love how Rachel Bilson has been carrying this bag in black all over from dresses to casual denim. The Chanel Boy bag looks like a new timeless classic!
