As you all know I have been pushing myself to learn more about better skin care this year. The stars aligned when I got a facial at the Four Seasons Maui and met my esthetician Lisa Mascaro. We spent the whole time talking about good skincare and based on her recommendations (Kate Somerville products, especially Quench), my patchy dry forehead is a distant memory. (If you are ever visiting Maui, make sure to make an appointment with Lisa at the Four Seasons Maui Spa. ) I wanted to bring Lisa's expertise to my readers so I am really happy to have her here on Coquette answering your questions!
Lisa Mascaro of the Four Seasons Maui Spa
Here's more about Lisa in her own words:
I am a licensed esthetician and have a passion for skin care. I have been involved in skin care since the age of 15. I have worked for the Four Seasons Maui, Hawaii for the last eleven years, six of those in the spa. My main focus is to educate people on how to take care of their skin correctly. Each person's skin is completely different. What works for one person may not work for you. I am here to help dispel the myths! Aside from using the proper skin care products, one must include healthy food, healthy thoughts and daily exercise to keep your skin vital. Everything we do on a daily basis matters to our skin.
Please leave your skin care question in a comment to this post or tweet me at @Coquette. I will try to pick the best questions for Lisa to answer and will have these up in early December as soon as we can! (At the latest sometime in Jan 2012.)
