A spring and summer staple of mine is the cotton cardigan. I usually always have one in black on hand but with this season's must-have trend of bold color upon us, having a cute cardi in a bright color sounds like much more fun. Land's End Fine Gauge Supina Crew Cardigan ($49) is the perfect basic cardigan that will take you through from now through even fall. I got mine in Palm Pink, a bright pink that's perfectly pink to wear on it's own or to create a color block outfit. I tend to love wearing my cardigans with a simple white tee over jeans but I love accessorizing the whole look, like with this vintage-looking necklace I scored online years ago.
The cotton fabric is great with a wonderful stretch. As much as I wear it for casual days, it also can polish off a dressy or workday outfit. The cardigan comes in fourteen colors with my favorites being Regent (purple), Glacier Blue (a great mint color), Chesterfield (yellow), and Phipps Orange.
