Coach just launched their Fall/Winter 2013 campaign with their theme "Coach New York Stories". The theme features models Karlie Kloss and Liu Wen in a refreshing personal take on each model's life in the Big Apple. (For the world of Coach men, there's model Will Chalker.)
I'm particularly excited to see the rise of Chinese model Liu Wen in a top American campaign (She's also one of the Estee Lauder gals.) To see an Asian model with such natural beauty in a big campaign such as this, is a wonderful reflection of our diverse culture in the U.S. Not many big fashion brands do this, so thanks Coach!

1. What do you think makes New York so iconic?
When I was growing up, New York was the one place I always wanted to discover. I would watch the King Kong movie and imagine myself standing at the top of the Empire State Building overseeing this great city. Since then, I became a model and started traveling to New York on a regular basis; I discovered the city was everything and more!
2. What is your favorite place in New York?
The best part about the city is all the contrasts. Each of its many neighborhoods and boroughs have great personality: uptown, downtown, the upper east side, the upper west side, Chelsea, the West Village, the city, the beach…I can’t possibly choose one favorite place because the city in its entirety is what I enjoy.
3. What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
I have found so many great places in New York. There’s my favorite tea shop on the Lower East Side. I also love that there is a museum for everything – my favorite ones to visit are the Museum of Modern Art and the Metropolitan Museum of Art. And there is nowhere else like Coney Island – it is like being in a fairytale.

I am so excited to be working with Coach, an iconic American brand that offers not only amazing leather products but also great style! Coach embodies the effortless New York City style that I have come to love and adopt.
5. How would you describe your style?
I like to think of it as a little feminine with a touch of tomboy.

I am currently obsessing over the Mini Borough Bag in Oxblood. I’ve been wearing it all over New York.
