When it comes to powder, I've been pretty faithful for the last ten + years to Chanel. But thanks to reading this post on Fete a Fete, I've discovered a new love for Dolce & Gabbana's Pressed Powder ($60 at Sephora). I have it in Soft Blush 3, a translucent rose beige which works perfectly with the yellow undertones of my Asian skin. (Just as Tami recommended!)
Let's talk about the texture now. It is so soft and lightweight that I wear it over my moisturizer daily for a shine-free natural look. The finely milled formula blends instantly into your skin and will extend the wear of your foundation as well. The compact comes in a luxurious gold compact with a velvet sleeve that additionally holds a small gold applicator brush for when you are on the go. It's a splurge for sure but compacts usually last me a couple years so it's worth it.
