Recently launched is the new NARS All Day Luminous Weightless Foundation ($48 at narscosmetics.com). I have the shade Gobi which is a light with yellow undertones. There are 20 shades and the NARS site has really good swatches for you to see. I've included a shot of the Gobi shade in daylight for you to see below. The foundation is water-based so you need to shake it before using it (like Chanel's Vitalumiere Aqua). I usually only need one pump and I use my Beauty Blender to blend it all into my face. The result is a great even skintone look that I love. The formula is so lightweight and it lasts all day.
Next up is the NARS Soft Velvet Loose Powder ($36 at narscosmetics.com). I haven't used a loose powder in five years and now I can't stop using this one. There are eight different shades and I have it in the shade Flesh. It feels so lightweight on and it is perfect to use after the All Day Luminous Foundation to control shine. The powder is infused with hyaluronic acid and helps blur fine lines and pores. I love that it doesn't leave that powder look on my face which sometimes happens in the winter due to dry skin. With this powder I can just dab it lightly over my face and I don't see a trace of it when I look close up. I also have just used it after moisturizer on days when I don't want to wear full makeup but still want a sort of polished look.
