NARS just launched their new Pro Palettes that come in two sizes: small ($14, size: 7 1/20" X 5 1/2") and large ($18, size: 8 9/10" X 6 4/5"). I have the small palette which for size reference comes out to be just a little bit smaller in length than my mini iPad. What I love the most about these palettes is that you can pick and choose which NARS products you use the most and want your palette to be. ll of the refill pieces have a magnet which makes it lock in perfectly into the palette.
There is a special section on NARScosmetics.com where you can build your palette and you can also just shop for individual colors. I will note that I used the photo of the small palette on the site for reference as the interactive builder doesn't really rotate pieces.
I choose to really make this a great daily palette and travel palette for when we go to Hawaii in a month.
My first column are my favorite blush shades: Orgasm, Amour and Mata Hari. The middle column has the Laguna bronzer, the highlighter in Albatross and a Dual Eyeshadow in Silk Road. Finally, the last column are all eyeshadows: Abyssinia, Fathom, Ashes to Ashes and Bali.
What's great is that I can take things out and add to the palette depending on trips or my makeup mood. I think it's a much handier way to store my favorite colors and I know I'll be using this everyday.
Here are the refills that are sold for the palettes:
Blush $21: 18 colors
Highlighting Blush $21: Albatross and Miss Liberty
Bronzing Powder $27: Casino and Laguna
Contour Blush $30: Olympia and Paloma
Pressed Powder $25: Beach, Desert, Flesh and Mountain
Dual Eyeshadow $25: 14 colors
Single Eyeshadow $18: 19 colors
