I had the most amazing facial experience recently at a new spa called Beauty of Earth on Union Street in the Marina neighborhood of San Francisco. Azita, the owner is an amazing skincare expert and she's currently renting out the spa space at Bien-Etre. (It is currently on the 2nd floor next door to the Illy Cafe.) I know a lot of us get facials at busy spas but this one is truly an oasis. When the doors open, it's like you've entered France. Beautiful French music is playing in the background and you'll just sigh at the beauty of the decor and gorgeous chandelier in the main room.
Azita has been running Beauty of Earth in Australia and only recently opened up her wonderful spa here in San Francisco. I have received a couple of comments from her Austrailian customers attesting to her amazing skincare skills. I had her signature Oxygen Jet Peel Facial ($250 per facial, or buy 4 you and get 1 free). The Oxygen Jet Peel Facial is like a non-surgical face lift treatment. (You can read more about it here in this Australian article that Azita was quoted in.) It encourages collagen production with pressurized oxygen, water and air therapy to reduce the efforts of free radical formation and skin inflammation. Azita usually recommends a number of treatments to see full results. My skin is pretty good and after one treatment, I could already see and feel a difference in my skin. I could see less eye bags (I had her do more work around my eyes) and also I had that youthful "bounce" to my skin. My skin was hydrated too! With this facial, she's using a high powered jet which feels really cool to the face. (It's actually a perfect way to cool down on a hot day!) She took so much care to make me comfortable throughout the facial and explained to me what areas she was working on. She did lymphatic draining, vitamin infusion, and finished it off with a restful collagen mask and eye mask that really restored the moisture back into my skin.
