When my trusty Clarins 3 dot-liner in brown ran out, I didn't know what to do since it's only available in black now. I loved a liquid eye but I felt like black looked too harsh in the daytime for everyday wear. I recently purchased the Too Faced Sketched Marker Liquid Art Eyeliner ($20 at Sephora) and couldn't be happier.
It comes in twelve rainbow colors. I have it in Espresso and it's the perfect shade of dark brown. This liquid eyeliner was inspired by Japanese calligraphy pens. I love the tip, it's very fine and yet the brush is very soft so you can get a wonderful flow to get a brush stroke. I can get the liner in really close to my lashes and can go as thin or thick without any problem. I say this because I'm not very good at drawing in eyeliner with a brush which is why I loved the 3 dot-liner from Clarins. Another plus? The $20 price point is really easy on my wallet. I know I'll be purchasing this again when the ink's run dry.
