Anyone else love notebooks like me? Well I have some exciting news here. Chronicle Books has just launched a new notebook line called The Go-To Notebook ($22.95 each on Amazon) featuring Mohawk Superfine Paper that's milled right in the USA. Yes you heard me correctly, Mohawk paper! I'm a huge fan of Mohawk paper for their quality and writing texture. I never have to worry about bleed-through (pen test is below in this post). Choose from Sage Blue, Persimmon Orange (both pictured above), Brick Red or Slate Grey. The fabric covers have a nice, soft texture and I like that the covers have a hard cover that is still flexible. This size is perfect at 6.2" X 0.8" X 9.1" and can fit wonderfully in my totebag.
Choose from lined paper, dot grid or blank inside. I love this subtle design treatment on the spine so you can tell what kind of notebook it is.
Here's a peek inside each notebook, not matter what kind of paper you have inside. First, there's a place to put your contact info.
Next you get 3 pages for your Contents. This is great for bullet journal lovers. Each page of the notebook is already numbered for you so you don't have to waste your time numbering them all.
Finally you get 27 project pages for you to sketch out and write about upcoming projects and deliverables. Love this so much!
In the back of each notebook, you get a generously sized pocket. I also love the design treatment where you have the dots for the dot grid and lines for the lined notebooks.
The lined notebook features light blue lines that are easy on the eyes. I also love the matching blue ribbon bookmark. The pages can also easily lie flat.
The dot grid is also light blue. It's really soft on the eyes. The bookmark here is yellow which is probably for the Slate Blue cover since the packaging also had a yellow border.
Here's a quick pen test with some of the pens I have on hand and use the most.
You can see on the back there's only a slight ghosting but definitely no bleed through! Gotta love Mohawk Paper!
