After a recent vet visit for Lulu yesterday, I took a detour to Michael's in Colma before heading home. I was excited to see that all planners were 40% off. I had just ordered my new Erin Condren planner for 2019-2020 so I looked at some of the mini ones to check out. I picked up two planners. One is the Recollections Astrology Mini Goal Spiral (on sale for $11.99, reg $19.99) and the other is the The Happy Planner: Mini Recipe Book. (I can't seem to find it on the Michael's site but Amazon has it here.) The Astrology Mini Goal Book is for my daughter who is obsessed with the stars and constellations. The recipe one is for me because I am working on my own handwriting and thought it would be a great project to convert all of my most cooked recipes in this small and handy book.

The Goal Planner is not dated and it comes with stickers in the back so you can label your own months. There is a monthly page and a weekly view page as well. The goal tracker is so great to have and it's there in each monthly tab section. I really love this mini size too! You can shop all of the Mini Spirals.

There are 8 tabs and the recipe pages have different colors depending on the category. Each tab page also has a fun print that coordinates with the section. The sections are: Favorites, Main Dishes, Small Dishes, Soups + Salads, Healthy, Breakfast, Desserts and Miscellaneous. I like this disc planner format so you can move your pages where ever you want. There are no stickers though at the back of the planner but i'm ok with that. I really just want this recipe book to be a practice booklet for me to get my handwriting back on track! I figured it's better than just writing jiberish in a notebook!
If you like spiral bound, there is also a medium sized Recollections Recipes Keepsake Planner (On sale for $17.99, reg $29.99).
I was also super excited to see a rack of stickers and washi from one of my favorite shops, Sweet Kawaii Designs. I first found out about her from her You Tube channel many years ago. Congrats to her for getting a deal with Michael's. She was on an end cap along with a brand I never heard of but totally adore, Wonton In A Million. (The tag line kills me. "Home of the Dim Sum Steam Team.")
I am not sure if they had everything as it was picked over a bit but I got a few things without going overboard because I really want to keep my supplies streamlined since I just organized my entire craft/office closet.
Sweet Kawaii Designs Magnetic Bookmarks ($5)
Got this cute set for my daughter.
Wonton In a Million Washi Tape Set - Birthday ($5)
This little washi set has four of the cutest little rolls. I really wanted the rainbow one so I went for this set over the others that were there. Again, trying to contain my washi collection to a bare minimum.
Wonton In a Million Weekly Sticker Kit - Birthday ($5)
I love, love, love this sticker booklet! I know I have enough stickers but I'm thinking about getting a few more of these. They are compact and great to take for planning on the go. There are 7 sheets of stickers in each of these sets (188 stickers total).
